Position Overview:

We're seeking an enthusiastic, polished, and personable Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll set the tone for their entire dining experience. Ideal candidates are gracious, confident under pressure, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly welcome and seat guests in a professional, friendly manner. Manage reservations and walk-ins using Resy and maintain accurate wait times. Coordinate with servers, managers, and floor staff to ensure smooth table flow. Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area. Support management with special events, large parties, and VIP reservations. Uphold Lokal's service standards and contribute to a positive team environment.

Qualifications:

Prior host/hostess or front-of-house experience preferred but not required — we'll train the right personality! Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and demeanor; punctual and reliable. Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Resy or similar reservation systems a plus.

Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time and full-time positions available. Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly wage
