Job Summary We're looking for a friendly, polished, and energetic Host/Hostess to be the face of Blue Anchor. As the first point of contact, you'll be responsible for greeting guests with warmth, managing reservations and walk-ins, and ensuring a smooth and efficient seating flow during service. Responsibilities Greet all guests with a warm, welcoming attitude Manage reservations, waitlists, and walk-ins using the reservation system Seat guests thoughtfully, balancing server sections and guest preferences Answer phones, take messages, and provide accurate information about the restaurant and menu Communicate wait times clearly and manage guest expectations Keep the entry and host stand area clean, organized, and presentable Assist with coat check or guest needs as required Collaborate with servers and managers to ensure seamless guest experiences Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return Requirements 1-2 years of experience in a host/hostess or guest-facing role in a fast-paced restaurant preferred Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills A professional and polished appearance Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure Comfort with reservation and seating systems (experience with platforms like Resy or OpenTable is a plus) Strong team player with a guest-first mindset Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required Why Join Us?
