AM Job Summary:

The Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn , a member of Genesis Hospitality , is a high-volume restaurant, seeking experienced and team-oriented candidates for the Full-Time Host position. We are looking for outgoing, energetic individuals to greet and seat our guests here at the restaurant. We offer a flexible schedule with daytime/nighttime hours and weekend hours. An ideal candidate will be a team player willing to work a flexible schedule. But above all make sure the guest enjoys their time at the Lambertville Station Restaurant!

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists Manage reservations Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas Maintain a clean reception area Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options Greet customers upon their departure Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress's name Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly) Answer incoming calls and address customers' queries Assist wait staff as needed

Requirements:

High degree of service orientation, positive attitude and ability to multitask. Able to work independently as well as work as part of a team. Candidate must be dependable and reliable. Outstanding people skills. Ability to work under pressure and high-paced work environment. Strong verbal and written skills.
