This is a great opportunity for college students passionate about e-commerce, live selling, sneakers, content creation, or digital marketing who want hands-on experience in a fast-growing area of online retail. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable on camera, enjoys interacting with customers, and knows how to create an exciting shopping experience while driving sales. Previous professional livestreaming experience is not required. We are looking for someone with the right energy, reliability, communication skills, and willingness to learn. You will be responsible for hosting scheduled livestreams, presenting products, engaging with viewers in real time, and helping grow our presence and sales performance on Whatnot. This is an in-person independent contractor opportunity based in West Deptford, New Jersey . The ideal candidate should be comfortable traveling to the West Deptford area for confirmed livestream shifts. What You'll Do Host engaging live sales broadcasts on Whatnot Present sneakers and clearly communicate product features, condition, and value Welcome viewers and maintain an energetic, professional on-camera presence Answer customer questions and interact with buyers in real time Create excitement and urgency around products and promotions Execute limited-time offers and other sales-focused calls to action Work with the team to prepare and organize products before each livestream Maintain strong product knowledge during broadcasts Assist with product selection, pricing, and promotional strategies Incorporate performance feedback and sales data to improve future streams Help grow followers, viewer engagement, customer loyalty, and overall sales Scheduling & Weekly Commitment This role offers scheduling flexibility, but reliability and consistency are essential .
Contractors are expected to:
Select, confirm, and complete at least one Company-approved livestream shift per week Complete a minimum of two consecutive livestream hours per qualifying shift , unless otherwise approved by the Company Select from available livestream opportunities and confirm their shift in advance Travel to the West Deptford, New Jersey area for confirmed livestream assignments Arrive prepared and ready to begin at the confirmed start time Honor all accepted and confirmed livestream commitments Communicate promptly if an emergency or unavoidable circumstance affects attendance Provide reasonable advance notice when requesting a schedule change Only confirmed, Company-approved livestream shifts count toward the minimum weekly commitment. Showing up at an unscheduled date or time does not satisfy the weekly shift requirement. Once a livestream shift has been accepted and confirmed, the Contractor is expected to complete that scheduled assignment. Repeated lateness, last-minute cancellations, missed commitments, failure to complete the required minimum livestream duration, or no-shows may result in removal from future assignments or termination of the contractor relationship.
