Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this vibrant role, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, setting a positive tone for their visit Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth seating flow Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while accommodating guest preferences and special requests Answer incoming phone calls with courtesy, providing information about the restaurant and reservation options Assist guests with seating, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional guest relations throughout their visit Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow during busy hours Qualifications Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest-focused roles Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest services enhances your effectiveness in this role Join us to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences!
