Host/Cashier

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. You will handle guest inquiries, manage reservations, and process transactions while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly as they enter the establishment and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction. Operate the POS system accurately to process orders and payments. Assist guests with menu selections and provide information about daily specials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant's offerings and services. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic knowledge of food service operations and hotel hospitality standards is beneficial. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
