Host Responsibilities include:

• Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door
• Provide patrons with accurate wait-time estimates during busy periods
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
• Seat guests and place table settings to ensure ideal speed of service
• Rotate seating between different sections to ensure even workloads for wait-staff
• Assist with opening/closing tasks
• Learn food and beverage menu to provide guest with accurate information
• Take to-go and pick-up orders
• Encourage up-selling of orders for higher revenue
• Answer phones and schedule reservations

Host Qualifications and Skills:

• 16+ years or older
• Energetic, Friendly, Well-Spoken
• Flexible schedule: weekdays, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Thoroughness and attention to details
• Team player who's proactive in looking for ways to help out other staff
• Ability to obtain required permits and certifications for food and beverage
