LUCA STEAK is seeking an experienced, polished, and hospitality-driven Lead Host to lead the guest arrival experience and serve as the first impression of the restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of warmth, presence, professionalism, and graceful control within a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and the confidence to manage the flow of service while creating a welcoming and elevated atmosphere for every guest.

Responsibilities Include:

Leading and overseeing the host stand and guest arrival experience Greeting guests warmly while maintaining an elevated and polished presence Managing reservations, seating flow, and waitlists with professionalism and composure Communicating closely with management and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service pacing Anticipating guest needs and handling special requests with care and attention to detail Maintaining strong knowledge of dining room layout, table pacing, and guest preferences Assisting with phone communication, reservation confirmations, and guest correspondence Supporting overall hospitality standards and maintaining organization at the host stand throughout service

Qualifications:

Prior upscale or fine dining host or maître d' experience required Strong hospitality instincts and professional communication skills Experience with RESY preferred Ability to remain composed and organized in a high-volume environment Polished appearance and strong attention to detail Natural warmth, confidence, and leadership presence Evening and weekend availability required
