Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide them with menus Take reservations and manage the waiting list Provide accurate wait times and monitor the dining room for empty or cleaned tables Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations Maintain a clean and organized host/host station

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members Knowledge of food service and hospitality industry practices Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional customer service Ability to handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong phone etiquette
