Responsibilities Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism as they arrive, creating a positive first impression Manage reservations and waitlist efficiently using POS systems such as Toast Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly Support the front-of-house team by communicating guest flow and reservation updates effectively Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station to ensure a welcoming environment Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in hospitality, hotel guest services, or serving roles enhances your ability to connect with guests Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure Knowledge of phone etiquette and guest relations best practices to foster memorable experiences Prior restaurant experience, especially in busy dining settings, is highly desirable Join us and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences through exceptional hospitality!
