Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a welcoming first impression of the restaurant Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and satisfaction Operate POS systems for order processing and payments Answer phone inquiries professionally, assisting with reservations and general questions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area Support servers by coordinating table assignments and communicating guest needs effectively Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and courteously Skills Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant workflows Proficiency with POS systems is preferred Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about creating memorable dining experiences.
