To-Go Specialist / Host / Hostess 2515 Route 55, Poughquag, NY 12570 From $16 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $16 an hour - Part-time, Full-time We are on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Hostess/To-Go Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere whether they're dining in or ordering to-go. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help ensure every guest feels valued and cared for. If you love providing top-notch guest service, enjoy working in a lively environment, and have a knack for multitasking, this could be the perfect fit for you! Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and welcomed. Assist guests with their to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area to uphold a welcoming environment. Collaborate with the restaurant team to manage seating flow and optimize guest experience. Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously. Consistent evening and weekend availability is a must! Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction. Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is a plus.
