As a Host, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing reservations, coordinating seating, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and team members. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help set the tone for an outstanding hospitality experience, making every guest feel valued and appreciated. Duties Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude upon arrival, providing a warm first impression Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently through Tock Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Assist guests with inquiries about menu items, specials, or restaurant policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Qualifications Previous experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant settings preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with reservation systems such as Tock, Resy or Open Table Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest services standards
