As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout the dining area. Your friendly demeanor and excellent communication skills will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant hospitality team dedicated to delivering outstanding service. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts using restaurant table management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate guest seating efficiently to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with reservations and general inquiries Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene protocols in the host area Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest flow and exceptional guest relations Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional appearance Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and interpersonal interactions Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices is a plus Join our team and help us create memorable dining experiences by providing outstanding guest services in a lively, welcoming atmosphere!
