Part-Time Saturday/Sunday Brunch required About Erma's Bistro Erma's Bistro is a 72-seat full-service Caribbean restaurant and bar located in the heart of Downtown Syracuse's historic Armory Square. Building on the success of Erma's Island, our new concept offers elevated Jamaican cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and warm island hospitality. We're looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help create an unforgettable dining experience rooted in culture, flavor, and community. The Host is responsible for providing outstanding service with knowledge, warmth, and professionalism. You'll seat guests, provide clean menus, adhere to server rotation, take phone calls, manage reservations, and welcome guests. Qualifications Previous hosting experience in a full-service restaurant preferred. Knowledge of Caribbean or international cuisine helpful. TIPS certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities. Ability to remain calm and courteous during high-volume service.
