In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and exceptional customer service will set the tone for an outstanding dining experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a dynamic environment that values guest relations and teamwork. Duties Greet guests warmly with a friendly attitude, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Maintain an organized waiting list and seating chart to optimize table turnover and guest flow Communicate clearly with guests regarding wait times, menu suggestions, and special requests via phone or in person Assist with guest inquiries, provide accurate information about the restaurant's offerings, and handle phone etiquette professionally Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating arrangements and timely service. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role within a restaurant or food service environment Strong communication skills, including phone communication and interpersonal interactions Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems.
