Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure their experience starts on a positive note. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements with efficiency and warmth. Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor to make them feel valued from the moment they arrive Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow Coordinate with the service team to assign tables efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal wait times Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing clear information about wait times, menu options, and restaurant policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, including menus, reservation books, and waiting area Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to enhance overall guest experience Support team members with guest services, including accommodating special requests and addressing concerns promptly Requirements Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key Strong communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette and ability to engage with diverse guests Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Knowledge of guest services, hospitality standards, and restaurant operations is highly desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive guest relations and teamwork Prior hotel or guest services experience is a plus but not mandatory Join us in creating memorable experiences for every guest!
