Job Description
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience. This position is responsible for greeting guests, managing the waitlist, and coordinating seating to support smooth restaurant operations. The host helps create a welcoming atmosphere and ensures guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. Key Responsibilities Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and provide a friendly welcome Manage reservations and waitlists Seat guests in an organized and efficient manner Maintain an accurate seating chart and communicate with servers about table availability Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries Keep the host stand and entrance area clean and organized Assist servers and staff when needed to support overall service Qualifications Friendly and professional attitude Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks at once Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods Prior restaurant experience is helpful but not required What We Offer Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment Opportunities to learn restaurant operations and grow within the team
