Busser/Hostess

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Host/Busser to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that the dining area is clean and well-organized. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for customer service. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed upon arrival. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors. Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently after guests leave. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages. Handle food safely and adhere to all health regulations regarding food handling. Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with additional tasks as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns in a friendly manner. Requirements Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in restaurants or catering, is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards within the dining area. Knowledge of hospitality practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
