Overview $ 11 per hour plus tips We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort. Provide accurate wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status. Assist in managing reservations and walk-in guests efficiently. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders as needed. Qualifications Previous host/host or food service experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Prior restaurant or hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory. A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
