Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest relations will be key to your success in this position. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize the flow of guests. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions. Assist with maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Utilize POS systems, such as Toast POS, for efficient order processing when necessary. Skills Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, is preferred but not required. Previous experience in restaurant environments is a plus. Knowledge of guest services and hospitality best practices. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills for building rapport with guests and colleagues alike.
