As the first point of contact for guests, you will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage seating arrangements, and ensure excellent customer service from arrival to departure. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and welcome them to the restaurant. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus. Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize dining room efficiency. Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area. Communicate effectively with servers and management regarding guest needs and table availability. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return. Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, positive, and professional attitude. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Previous customer service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
