  • Friday 10:30 am to 4:00 pm as well as host /hostess for evenings and weekends.
  • We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists effectively using the POS system. Ensure that all guests are seated in a timely manner while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere. Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette and assist with inquiries regarding reservations and menu items. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Handle guest relations, addressing any concerns or special requests promptly and professionally. Assist in training new hosts/hostesses as needed. Qualifications Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with food service operations and hospitality standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team. Knowledge of serving techniques and guest services principles is beneficial.
