Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor Manage guest seating by coordinating reservations and walk-in arrivals to optimize flow and wait times Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing orders and payments Handle guest inquiries politely via phone and in person, providing information about menu items and wait times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance overall satisfaction Support team members during busy periods by providing efficient service and seamless communication Skills Proven experience as a Host or Hostess in a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone etiquette Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant procedures Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating hospitality expertise Ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about creating positive guest experiences through exceptional service.
