Job Description Position:

Host / Hostess Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage the restaurant's waiting list and seating arrangements.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Answer guest questions about the menu, restaurant policies, and wait times.
• Manage reservations and ensure accurate guest information.
• Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth restaurant operations.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate seating efficiently.
• Keep the host stand, entrance, and waiting area clean and organized.
• Assist guests with special requests and provide excellent customer service.
• Handle guest concerns politely and notify management when necessary.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist with takeout or reservation inquiries when needed.
• Follow all restaurant policies and maintain a professional appearance. Qualifications
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to work well with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
• Bilingual skills are a plus. Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move around the restaurant safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment.

Work Environment This position works in a fast-paced restaurant environment and requires frequent communication with guests and restaurant staff. The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression and helping ensure a smooth dining experience for every guest.

Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
