We are seeking a long-term professional and welcoming Host to assist with the front-of-house activities at our restaurant. As the first point of contact, the Host plays a crucial role in ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and enjoy a memorable dining experience from arrival to departure. Must have weekend and holiday availability year-round.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Reception:
Warmly greet guests upon their arrival, manage reservations, and oversee seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Guest Service:
Address and accommodate special requests, dietary needs, and seating preferences to enhance guest satisfaction.
Communication:
Act as the primary liaison between guests and restaurant staff, ensuring clear and effective communication to facilitate efficient service and address any guest concerns promptly.
Operational Efficiency:
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the guest reception area, manage dining menus, and ensure all front-of-house materials are up-to-date and well presented.
Safety Compliance:
Monitor and maintain compliance with all restaurant safety standards and sanitation regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
Customer Service Experience:
Prior experience in customer service or a hospitality role, with a demonstrated ability to engage and satisfy guests.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting warmly and effectively with guests and team members. Attention to
Detail:
A keen eye for detail, ensuring all aspects of the guest experience are managed effectively from cleanliness to personal interactions.
Adaptability:
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to changing business needs.
