Maintain accurate restaurant table management using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow. Assist guests with seating preferences, wait times, and special requests to enhance their experience. Support food safety standards by communicating effectively with the service team about guest needs and timing. Organize waiting lists and monitor table turnover to maximize seating capacity during busy hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest relations at all times. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and proper phone etiquette. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with strong organizational skills. Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and billing processes when necessary. Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being. Experience with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS or Micros POS, is highly desirable. Ability to foster positive guest relations through attentive service and friendly demeanor.
