In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and exceptional customer service will ensure every guest feels valued and enjoys a memorable dining experience. Duties Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, guiding them to their tables efficiently Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems, ensuring accurate seating arrangements Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations while practicing excellent phone etiquette Maintain organized restaurant table management systems to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and timely service Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with courtesy and professionalism Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations during guest interactions Requirements Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential Strong communication skills, including clear verbal skills and active listening abilities Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating counts, and guest billing processes Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest needs simultaneously Knowledge of restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems is desirable Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations while demonstrating hospitality expertise Experience in hotel or guest services environments is advantageous but not mandatory Join us in creating exceptional dining experiences by providing warm welcomes, seamless seating, and outstanding guest relations.
