This is an event-based position , with the majority of our work taking place on Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional weekday evenings. About the Position As a Photo Booth Host / Event Technician, you will be responsible for transporting, setting up, operating, and breaking down photo booth equipment at events. You will also interact directly with event guests and serve as a representative of Lehigh Valley Events & Productions throughout the event. You will initially work alongside experienced members of our team while learning our equipment, software, procedures, and event standards. Once trained, you will be expected to confidently manage photo booth assignments independently. This position combines customer service, event production, technical operation, and physical setup/breakdown work. ResponsibilitiesEvent Setup Meet with the Event Lead at the assigned venue or location. Arrive approximately 1.5-2 hours prior to the scheduled event start time. Transport and unload photo booth equipment. Assemble the photo booth and related equipment. Complete a full operational test before guests arrive. Verify graphics, event information, spelling, printing, software, and equipment functionality. Coordinate with venue staff and the Event Lead as necessary. Ensure the photo booth is completely operational and presentation-ready before the event begins. Event Operation Operate the photo booth throughout the contracted rental period. Welcome and assist guests using the photo booth. Explain the equipment and encourage guest participation. Provide friendly, professional customer service. Troubleshoot basic technical issues when necessary. Keep the photo booth area clean, organized, and presentable. Monitor equipment and supplies throughout the event. Maintain a positive and professional presence throughout the event. Event Breakdown Continue operating the booth until the contracted rental period is complete. Disassemble and properly pack all equipment. Load equipment into your personal or company vehicle. Return equipment to our warehouse when required. Confirm that all equipment and supplies have been accounted for before leaving the venue. Reliability & Attendance Because our services are provided at live events, reliability is one of the most important requirements of this position. Many of our events are weddings, corporate functions, school events, and other one-time occasions. Once an event begins, there is no opportunity to simply reschedule because a team member is unavailable.

We are looking for individuals who can be trusted to take ownership of their responsibilities once properly trained. Availability Evening and weekend availability is required. The majority of our events occur: Friday evenings Saturdays Sundays Occasional weekday evenings Many events require availability within the 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM timeframe , depending on the event schedule. Individual shifts may range from approximately 3-9 hours of event operation , in addition to setup and breakdown time. Candidates should have sufficient flexibility to accommodate changing event schedules and should not expect a traditional Monday-Friday work schedule.
