Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient seating assistance Manage restaurant reservation systems to optimize table turnover and guest flow Coordinate guest seating arrangements with attention to special requests and preferences Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items and wait times using proper phone etiquette Take to-go orders accurately via phone or online platforms, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Use restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track reservations and seating assignments Assist in maintaining a clean, organized host stand and dining area to uphold food safety standards and guest comfort Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude Food service experience enhances your ability to understand restaurant operations and guest needs Strong communication skills are essential for effective guest interactions and team coordination Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Demonstrated organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining excellent customer service standards Basic math skills for processing payments or managing wait times accurately Join us in creating welcoming environments where every guest feels valued!
