Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Host/Host to join our team at a vibrant restaurant. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service. Utilize OpenTable system for managing waitlists and reservations. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Assist guests with inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for all guests. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Familiarity with systems, particularly FoodTec & OpenTable, is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to help guests. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
