Food Service Host (Limited Part-Time) - UPMC Williamsport Make a Difference Through Exceptional Service! UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Food Service Host to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. In this role, you'll interact directly with patients to help ensure they receive nutritious meals and an outstanding dining experience during their hospital stay. Schedule 16 hours per week Shifts scheduled between 3:30pm and 8:00pm Every other weekend and every other holiday required Please note: We are not considering high school students for this position at this time. What You'll Do Assist patients with meal selection and menu collection. Deliver and serve meals while providing excellent customer service. Ensure meals are served accurately, attractively, and within established timeframes. Verify patient identification and follow department procedures during meal service. Respond professionally to patient requests and concerns. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned work areas. Follow food safety, hand hygiene, and infection prevention standards. Communicate patient feedback and concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members. Ideal Candidate Enjoys working directly with people and providing outstanding customer service. Has experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing environment. Experience serving patients, residents, or guests is preferred.
