Cocktail Experience Host & Social Media Coordinator

About Us Primrose Bar & Lounge is a high-energy cocktail bar in Durham focused on great drinks, great music, and a strong guest experience. Our space is built around atmosphere, connection, and creating a night people want to come back to. The Role We're looking for someone who naturally elevates a room. This role is a blend of guest experience + social media + floor presence . You'll be interacting with guests, helping maintain the energy of the space, and capturing the moments that make our nights stand out. This is not a traditional serving position — it's about being part of the overall experience. What You'll Do - Guest Experience Welcome and engage with guests throughout the night Help maintain a fun, inviting, high-energy atmosphere Be attentive to the overall vibe of the room Support the team in creating a seamless guest experience Space &• Environment• Help maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bespoke lounge and main lounge areas Ensure guest-facing areas stay clean, organized, and visually on-brand throughout the night Take pride in the overall appearance and feel of the space Social Media & Content Capture photos/videos during shifts Post consistently (stories, reels, etc.) Highlight busy nights, events, and the overall atmosphere Engage with guests online and help grow our presence What We're Looking For Naturally outgoing and personable Strong awareness of social environments and energy Comfortable starting conversations and engaging with new people Interest in nightlife, hospitality, or events Basic understanding of social media content (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Reliable and consistent
