Job Description
About the Role We are building a Pokémon trading card live-commerce business and are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and engaging Live Stream Host. The ideal candidate enjoys Pokémon cards, feels comfortable speaking on camera, and can create an entertaining and welcoming experience for collectors. You will host live auctions, showcase Pokémon cards and sealed products, interact with viewers, and help grow a long-term collector community. Responsibilities
- Host live Pokémon card sales and auctions
- Present raw cards, graded cards, sealed products, and other Pokémon collectibles
- Clearly describe card condition, set, rarity, artwork, and relevant product details
- Engage with viewers and respond to questions in real time
- Maintain an energetic, friendly, and professional atmosphere during livestreams
- Introduce upcoming products, promotions, giveaways, and show schedules
- Work with the operations team to maintain accurate order and inventory records
- Help prepare cards and products before each livestream
- Assist with short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms
- Follow all Whatnot seller policies and company procedures Qualifications
- Strong interest in Pokémon and the Pokémon Trading Card Game
- Familiarity with Pokémon card sets, rarities, grading, and collectible terminology
- Comfortable speaking and presenting on camera
- Friendly, energetic, reliable, and able to communicate naturally with viewers
- Strong attention to detail when describing card condition
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Fluent English required Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience selling Pokémon cards or collectibles
- Experience with Whatnot, TikTok Live, YouTube, Twitch, or other livestream platforms
- Familiarity with PSA, CGC, Beckett, TCGplayer, and eBay sold listings
- Knowledge of both English and Japanese Pokémon products
- Existing involvement in the Pokémon collector community Compensation
- Base pay: $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience
- Performance bonuses based on sales, viewer engagement, and channel growth
