Duties Host live game show segments with enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism, ensuring contestants and audience members feel welcomed and engaged Explain game rules clearly and concisely to contestants and viewers, maintaining high levels of clarity and excitement Manage contestant interactions, including guiding them through participation processes and resolving any conflicts or misunderstandings promptly Facilitate audience participation by encouraging cheers, reactions, and involvement to enhance the overall show atmosphere Coordinate with production staff to ensure seamless transitions between segments and maintain the show's momentum Maintain a lively presence on stage or set, utilizing humor, storytelling, and public speaking skills to entertain viewers Set up, reset, and keep game show area clean and organized between shows Assist guests with chick-in's and explain how the experience works Requirements Proven experience in events management or hosting roles within entertainment, theater, or hospitality settings Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle disputes or misunderstandings calmly and professionally Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor for interacting with contestants and guests of all ages Experience working with children or diverse audiences is highly desirable Exceptional public speaking abilities with clear articulation and engaging delivery style Experience on a microphone and engaging with crowds Having the ability to guide and direct large crowds safely when needed Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in a fast-paced entertainment setting Reliable, punctual, and a team player If you're fun, dependable, and ready to join Charleston's most entertain experience, apply today!
