Job Description
SUMMARY The Greeter/ Cashier/ Host supervises and coordinates activities of dining room to provide fast and courteous service to patrons: Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners. Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus. Addresses complaints of patrons and ensures prompt and courteous service to guests. Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations. Total receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cash register. Collect payment from customers.

Follow hotel audit standards for cash handling; keep accurate amounts in cash drawer/apron; report tips accurately; give proper change; accurately post charges to suite; accurately calculate guest check totals; correct over-rings; meet hotel standards for guest checks; advise manager of shortages.Job Types:
