Pizzeria Cashier Job Description:

We are searching for a friendly and professional Pizzeria cashier to join our restaurant staff. As the first point of contact, you will greet and assist customers as they enter our restaurant. In this position, delivering outstanding customer service will be your main objective. Additional responsibilities include processing food orders, cleaning public spaces, and packaging orders. The ideal candidate will be friendly, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Toast Point of Sale experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

Welcome customers and help determine their orders. Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant POS. Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner. Accept cash and return the correct change. Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift. Place food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes. Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces. Help kitchen staff when needed. Host Job Description We are a busy restaurant and have an open role for host. You will greet guests as they enter and show them to their table or waiting area. You will also engage with guests to ensure their meal is as good as it should be. To do well in this role you should be comfortable standing for long periods and managing a very busy shift.

Host Responsibilities:

Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary. Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions. Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas. Assigning guests to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers. Answering phone calls and taking names for the waitlist. A knowledge of the menu. Helping out with other positions in the restaurant as needed. Providing great customer service.
