Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their tables or seating areas Manage guest waitlists and reservations using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of seating times and guest flow Handle cashier duties accurately, processing payments swiftly and efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Answer guest inquiries about menu items, restaurant policies, or special accommodations with clarity and professionalism Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and cashier area to uphold a welcoming environment Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated Support restaurant operations during busy periods by coordinating with servers, kitchen staff, and management to optimize guest experience Requirements Proven experience as a host/hostess or cashier in food service or restaurant settings Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person and over the phone Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; hotel experience is a plus Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food service operations, including serving procedures and hospitality standards Previous experience in hospitality or guest services roles is highly desirable Join us in creating memorable dining experiences!
