Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and reservation options. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating flow and guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with courtesy and effective communication skills. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and waiting area. Support guest relations by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits. Uphold restaurant policies and safety standards while delivering outstanding hospitality experiences. Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in restaurant operations or hotel guest services is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are necessary for success in this role. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
