$7.25/hour + Tip Share Position Summary Reds Ice House is looking for energetic, friendly, and hospitality-driven Hosts/Hostesses to join our team. As the first and last impression of our restaurant, our hosts play a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience. If you enjoy interacting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in providing outstanding customer service, we'd love to meet you. Responsibilities Greet every guest with a warm, genuine smile and provide a welcoming first impression. Manage the guest waitlist and seating chart to ensure efficient table rotation and guest satisfaction. Coordinate seating with servers and managers to maximize service flow and dining efficiency. Answer incoming phone calls professionally, assist with reservations, and provide accurate information about the restaurant. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting area. Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests informed throughout their visit. Accommodate special requests whenever possible and assist with large parties. Assist with opening and closing host responsibilities. Support servers, bartenders, and managers as needed to ensure a smooth dining experience. Uphold Reds Ice House's standards for hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork. Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for hospitality. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods. Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and game days is preferred. Must be dependable, punctual, and a strong team player.
