Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they experience exceptional hospitality from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, greet and seat guests, and coordinate with team members to provide smooth and efficient service. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will create a positive atmosphere that encourages guest satisfaction and repeat visits. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating arrangements efficiently Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting areas Handle guest inquiries or concerns courteously, escalating issues as needed Support guest relations by providing information about menu items, specials, or restaurant policies Requirements Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to handle phone communication with proper etiquette and professionalism Basic math skills for managing wait times, table counts, and billing procedures Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus but not required Join our team to deliver memorable guest experiences through lively interaction, seamless coordination, and genuine hospitality.
