Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently while maintaining a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome. Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to manage orders and payments accurately. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Provide assistance to guests with inquiries or special requests, enhancing their dining experience. Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries professionally. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with POS systems is a plus, particularly Aloha POS. A passion for providing excellent guest services in a restaurant or hotel setting.
