Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide friendly, attentive guest services to foster a positive dining atmosphere Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently, including booking, modifying, and confirming reservations using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort and satisfaction Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, assisting with reservation inquiries and general questions Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support food safety standards by ensuring cleanliness of host/hostess stations and adherence to hygiene protocols Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest flow and timely seating Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a busy restaurant setting preferred, with strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build guest relations Experience in food service environments is highly desirable to understand restaurant operations and guest expectations Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and POS transactions accurately Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with restaurant table management systems and POS systems is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing exceptional guest services!
