Qualifications English Full Job Description Summary:

To ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures, in accordance with ZaZa Standards.

Essential Functions:

Assist managers in opening and closing. Answering phone calls. Make reservations. Know outlet promotions and events. Greeting guests. Seating guests. Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance. Knowledge of general hotel property. Knowledge of outlet hours of operations. Attend to and anticipate guest's needs. Familiarization with all menus. Introduce server to guest. Knowledge of daily specials. Assign guest checks, seating areas. Adhere to grooming guidelines, wear Z pin, proper uniform standards. Follow proper Hotel safety policies and procedures and use safety equipment as needed.

Tools and Equipment:

Computer and printer, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, file folders, filing cabinet, and facsimile machine

Working Environment:

Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions. Exposure to various hazardous chemicals. Exposure to food items and beverages.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to: Stand; Walk; Use hands to handle, or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; Talk or hear and taste or smell; Sitting; The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; able to push and pull objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job to see, read, write, and use a computer. Must be able to communicate with guests in English.
