Duties Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel instantly welcome and appreciated Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or specials Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are inviting and presentable Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate seating and special requests Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring every guest feels valued throughout their visit Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service, demonstrating strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with guests and team members Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for reservations and order management Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, highlighting hospitality versatility Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Knowledge of serving protocols, hospitality standards, and phone etiquette to ensure professional interactions Strong guest relations skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences for all visitors This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
