In this role, you will manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth flow of guests from arrival to departure. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using our table management systems such as Yelp and Toast POS Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times and reservation details Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest service flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and reservation logs Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to enhance guest relations and satisfaction Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation standards during guest interactions Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in a similar customer service role within a restaurant environment Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor under pressure Familiarity with POS systems, including Toast POS and other restaurant management tools Basic math skills for handling reservations, seating counts, and guest billing inquiries Solid organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow seamlessly Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure a safe dining environment Experience with food service operations and guest relations to foster positive guest experiences Join us in creating an energetic, welcoming environment where every guest feels valued!
