Under the creative direction of Executive Chef Partner Shane Stark renowned for his work at Monger s in Austin Georgie's brings a refined yet approachable take on seafood, designed to highlight the best of land and sea in the heart of Texas.

Job OverviewAs a member of our team, you play a crucial role in creating a memorable and exceptional dining experience for our guests. Your warm and gracious hospitality, attention to detail, and professionalism set the tone for their visit. You are the first and last point of contact, ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued.

Responsibilities & DutiesWarmly welcome guests upon their arrival with a courteous and professional demeanor.

Escort guests to their reserved tables and present menus.

Assist in seating arrangements, considering guest preferences and table availability.

Manage reservations efficiently, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely confirmations.

Maintain a waitlist and communicate table availability to the restaurant managers and servers.

Build rapport with guests, address their needs, and provide information about the menu, daily specials, and wine selections.

Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and dietary restrictions with professionalism and empathy.

Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth table turnover and timely service.

Monitor table assignments and dining room flow to optimize guest experience.

Ensure that the front-of-house area, including the entrance, lobby, and dining room, is impeccably clean and well-maintained.

Assist with table settings, including arranging silverware, glassware.

Thank guests for dining with us as they leave and inquire about their experience.

Recognize and acknowledge repeat guests, special occasions, and celebrations, making their experience extra memorable.

Collaborate closely with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service.

Attend pre-shift meetings to review reservations and special requests.

Required Skills & AbilitiesExceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Familiarity with reservation management software and POS systems.

A passion for providing outstanding guest service.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company Food Safety Programs within assigned area of responsibility, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.

Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.

Demonstrate ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide quickly, correctly, and in a way that allows one to solve work-related issues.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.

Flexibility to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
