JUN Is looking for driven and outgoing individuals to join our server assistant team. Recently our Chefs Henry Lu and Eveyln Garcia have been nominated for Best Chefs Texas by the James Beard Foundation moving into the finalist round for 2026. JUN is a celebration of Houston, Texas, from the flavors, its spirit, and its ever changing landscape. Chef Evelyn Garcia and Henry Lu are inspired by the traditions that have shaped this city and state; which is made up of diverse cultures, ingredients, and stories that make Texas so multidimensional.

At JUN, Chef Eveyln & Henry plays homage to where Texas has been while exploring where its food can go. JUN cooks with pride, curiosity, and a deep respect for the land and the people who define it. Host Role

• Greet guests warmly
• Guide guests to their tables and offer them complimentary still or sparkling water
• Communicate with servers and expo
• Notify servers and expo of guest notes (allergies, birthdays, anniversaries
• Answer phones courteously and help guests book reservations, or answer pertinent questions
• Send notifications, reminders and booking information to guests for following day
• Confirm same day and following day reservations
• Respond to voicemails and text messages
• Date menus
• Help with folding linens, micro fiber and roll ups
• Enhance guest experience, keep waters filled, help the floor get reset when available
• Keep host stand clean
• Mark tables with celebration cards Host Requirements
• Food handlers and TABC certifications
• Proven experience in working in the restaurant industry
• Sound knowledge of food handling procedures
• The ability to work as part of a team
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment
• The ability to stand for long periods of time
