We specialize in creating unforgettable experiences through luxury transportation, karaoke rides, private events, and unique mobile entertainment experiences. We believe every ride should be safe, fun, and memorable. Our team is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety. Position Summary We're looking for an energetic, outgoing, and dependable Karaoke Kart Experience Host & Driver to join our growing team. This position is much more than driving. You'll be the face of the Karaoke Kart experience—welcoming guests, setting the energy for the ride, ensuring everyone's safety, operating the vehicle, and helping create an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, has a positive attitude, can confidently lead groups, and can troubleshoot minor technology issues while keeping the experience running smoothly. This is a 1099 independent contractor position . This is not a full-time or part-time position. Opportunities are scheduled based on bookings and business demand. Responsibilities Safely operate the Karaoke Kart while following an assigned route. Welcome guests and create a fun, energetic, and memorable experience. Review safety guidelines with guests before each ride. Keep the group engaged while maintaining a safe and professional environment. Troubleshoot basic karaoke equipment, microphones, television, music, Bluetooth, and lighting during rides. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure the Karaoke Kart is clean, organized, and guest-ready before every event. Follow company procedures and assigned routes at all times. Communicate with management regarding schedules, delays, maintenance concerns, or guest issues. Represent the Life of the Party Bus brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Qualifications Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record. Must obtain and maintain a City of Houston Low-Speed Vehicle Operator Permit (or be willing to obtain it upon hire). Must meet company insurance eligibility requirements. Ability to pass a background check. Comfortable learning and troubleshooting basic karaoke equipment, microphones, television, music, Bluetooth, and lighting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with groups. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to follow directions and adhere to assigned routes and company procedures. Reliable transportation to and from our Houston operations location. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night events. Important Information This is a 1099 independent contractor position and is not a full-time or part-time employee role. Contractors accept assignments based on availability and business demand. Contractors are responsible for their own tax withholdings and will receive a 1099 tax form at year-end.
