As the first point of contact in our restaurant, the Host/Hostess sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. You will warmly welcome guests, manage seating, and support the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service. At Hotel Indigo Irving-Las Colinas, every interaction is an opportunity to surprise and delight guests with personalized hospitality that reflects the local neighborhood.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet all guests with a warm, genuine, and professional demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements using the restaurant's POS or table management system. Provide guests with menus and answer initial questions about the concept, specials, and service style. Coordinate with servers and restaurant staff to ensure efficient table turnover and flow of service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entryway. Uphold brand and service standards set by IHG and Hotel Indigo. Handle guest concerns or special requests promptly and effectively, escalating when necessary. Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the character and story of the neighborhood. Support opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable or similar) is a plus. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
